Someone is in the doghouse...

Michael and I went to Ikea this last weekend and they had these little dog/cat houses for sale for $4.99 - it is pretty small and we thought that it would be a little place for Bellatrix to hang out or relax.. the problem is that it is different for her so we had to introduce it to her and get her comfortable inside. Michael decided he would hang out with her in it to see if she would then like it. Here is Michael hanging out in the house with Bellatrix. You may not find this funny, but I do.

I have a crush on a Vampire named Edward...

1 day and counting...
I honestly cannot wait! I am making Michael go with me to Barnes and Noble at 12:01am to buy my book! Anyone else want to join??

Puppy caught in the act.

This is what I caught Bellatrix doing. Thought it was pretty funny though. Michael didn't see, so he still drank his water out of the glass....ooops.

Strawberry Jam

I am so excited! I made Strawberry Freezer Jam all by myself! I have never done anything like that but I thought I would give it a try and it worked! We will see how it taste with toast but I am still happy and it looks so pretty!

California Dreamin'

Last weekend we DROVE to Santa Clara for the 4th of July and my Grandmother's 75th birthday. It was a long drive... we left Thursday night after work and drove ALL night! We got to my Grandma's house around 7:30am and didn't even get a chance to sleep! My little brother and sister were so excited that we were there... well they may have been more excited since we brought Bellatrix.
While we were there we spent a lot of time with Benson and Jasmi (little brother and sister). We saw Kung-fu Panda AND Wall-E (we snuck Bellatrix in too!) We watched fireworks at Santa Clara Central Park and went to Chinatown. Sunday night was the celebration of Grandma's birthday so we had a Vegan dinner (she is vegan) with all of the family. It was pretty low key but good to see everyone and catch up .We hadn't all been together since Michael and I's wedding.
It was sad to say good bye to Benson and Jasmi (and of course my dad) but I am hoping we will get up to Boise again this summer to spend more time with them. The drive back was dreadful too... I don't think I will ever drive that far again. BUT.... the Pruis did well and we got about 47 MPG on the whole trip so we saved a lot of money.

Sorry there are so many pictures!

Taking Belly for a walk - we thought the fire hydrant needed to be in it
Happy 4th of July!
Benson had to use the restroom really bad at the park... and there was no restroom near by!
