Celebrating 1 year in NYC
Michael and I just hit our 1 year last week! To celebrate we decided to go to New York and visit our friend Josh and Kaoru. It was such a fun and exciting week! Here are some pictures from our trip. And yes, we ate way too much - but its vacation right!
This is their cute little apartment - can you believe all the books they have???
This is one of our first nights in the city... one of our MANY meals!
Josh and Kaoru at dinner, they are so adorable together.
The day of our 1 year! 05.06.08
This is the Chocolate Heaven that Josh and Kaoru had made for us! It was do good and was a great midnight snack throughout the week!
This is outside the Met, Michael is trying to look like a superhero.
I loved this sign because it reminded me of Harry Potter.
No, I don't play for the Yankees.
Yankee's Game... It was one of my favorite parts!
Rainy Day... Michael's 2nd umbrella of the day.
And my favorite part! Yes - I finally got to see WICKED! I have been bugging Michael for months to go see it and we did it! I would recommend it to everyone! It is well worth it!
I also got to see Erika! She took the bus up from DC and came and spent the day with us. We did the Sex & the City tour - very fun.

Sorry for the amount of photos! I was just so happy to share our anniversary week with you all! Now back to reality...

Congrats to the graduate!
Michael finally graduated this weekend! We are so proud of him!
My family also came down to celebrate so we had a busy busy weekend entertaining the little ones. We went to Thanksgiving Point to the Dinosaur Museum. It was a great time for the kids and the adults!
On Saturday before by Dad left we went to the park to hang out and let the kids play. It is always so fun to have little ones around. The rest of the day my mom, my cousin Lila, and I ran around Salt Lake trying to make sure we got everything ready for our trip that we thought that left that night*
*See below for story
**Like I said we ran around town trying to prepare for our trip and packing. We had planned all week that my mom would us to the airport and then they would leave the next morning from our place. So we went along with the plans and went to the airport last night at 9:30pm. We approached the front desk and handed the airport attendant our id's and flight information. She gave us a funny look and said "This flight doesn't leave until tomorrow!"
Thank goodness my mom couldn't figure out how to start my car (its a hybrid and you have to push on the brake and touch the POWER button, very tricky) because we were able to get a ride home... I would like to thank my husband of year for this. He was the one in charge of our itinerary. I guess you can say it worked out better.. I got another night with Bellatrix ( I was having a really really hard time last night with leaving her)... I got a good night sleep... and I have more time to make sure we have everything.

1 year... almost
We somewhat celebrated our 1 year anniversary a little early with our cake. We figured we couldn't take it with us so we had better have a piece.. it was still as delicious and pretty!
Yes, this is just the top of the cake. Seeing it made me want to have another wedding! Thanks Lynda and Mike for keeping it in your freezer for us!
