A little trip to Boulder....

So last month we got to go to Boulder, Colorado. I won a work recognition for doing well last year towards my sales quota. It was a great time and nice little get away... Max did great and I think loved being outside strolling around so much! The weather was perfect (a little cold in the mornings though)!

Boulder is a great city and reminded us a lot of Portland, Oregon. I think it will definitely be a city we visit again!

We did lots of "baby Bjorning" and bundling up...!

Max tried some pickles at lunch... He actually enjoyed it... surprisingly!

At our hotel they did an "Alice and Wonderland" party so there was a BIG chess set in the lobby area... The pieces were just about the size of Max!

Most of you know that Michael plays the guitar and sings.

A lot.

And I seem to think that our little boy may have an ear for music.

Or he just likes to get down and dance. (this he did not get from me)

We just got back from Boulder. And here is a picture dad took of me while we were out strolling in the orange stroller on Pearl Street. It was a lot of fun. We saw lots of people that had hair like my Uncle Brandon. It was a cool little city.



We have been a little busy and I know it is going to get busier for my family! Some days feel like Goundhog's day... the same thing over and over, but days seem to get shorter and shorter!

My mommy gets to (has to) start school again this week, so that she can one day finish her MBA. She doesn't really want to go back, because she knows she will miss me on Wednesday nights, but also knows that it is important to keep learning. It would really help if she didn't have so much other stuff going on with work and taking care of me! She said she will see how balancing work, school, and me (and daddy) works out before she registers for summer classes.

I have been getting a little better about sleeping. I didn't do too well on our little trip. I woke up a lot during the night, I think it was because I missed my Bellatrix and my own bed.

I have discovered a few new foods in the last couple weeks, but I think pears are by far my favorite so far. My mom is scared to try other real foods with me. Even though the chart on the fridge says I can eat chicken and turkey, she thinks that is is scary! Maybe one day or I guess I will just be a vegetarian.

I have nearly conquered crawling. I am quite the mover these days and can move quick enough that my parents can't see me get across the room so fast! They really need to "baby proof" the house soon!

Also, I still have no teeth. My parents like to blame my "fussiness" on teething, but it seems like they have been saying that more nearly 3 months and I still have no teeth! Maybe one of these days they will pop up! I think I am just fussy because I have turned into a mamma's boy. I like her to hold me all the time and I get sad if I see her in walk by in the hallway and she doesn't come and get me!

I still can't believe how fast my time has gone by since I was born! I have gained lots of weight and grown taller and taller every day! And of course have put my parents through quite the adventures!
